Today Jesus showed me something beautiful: Forgiveness doesn’t have to take a long time, in fact, loving someone means that it shouldn’t. I can’t look at you without seeing everything I love, and I know it’s because of what my Saviour has done in me. I see little glimpses into the man He’s molding you to be and every time you speak I hear Him moving. I know you’re sad. I know there’s something broken inside you that you haven’t pulled out yet, but I need you to know that I’ve experienced enough to know that you and I are going to see the most beautiful things because of the choice we made to seek Christ above every other thing. I’m going to be here when you discover why you’re hurting, and it’ll be my head that yours will leaning against when you’re praying, and it’ll be my arms that will be an extension of Christ’s arms when you need help staying together.
